Sometimes Having No Closure Is Already The Closure

  Hello, DJ Chloe!

  Avid reader niyo po ako and listener. I just want to seek for an advice. Please hide my identity po. Just call me “Sweet.”

  I’m in a relationship po right now and my boyfriend is in abroad. Wala po akong problem sa love life. Pero hindi po ako magkaroon ng peace of mind because of my past relationship.

  Two (2) years ago, I have a boyfriend, he’s name is A. Pero ‘di ko po masabi na boyfriend ko siya dahil parang kaming dalawa lang ‘yung nakakaalam. We have our own lives na ‘di alam ng isa’t-isa. We don’t demand on each other. Until a guy from years ago came. He’s name is R. Nanligaw siya sa’kin then we go out ng madalas just like the normal getting-to-know-each-other stage.

  Napaisip po ako, DJ Chloe. Naisip ko, I’m not getting any younger and I want a real relationship kaya naging kami. Back to A po dahil halos twice lang naman po kami magkita in a month and dahil parang ‘di naman kami nagpapakialamanan sa life ng isa’t-isa hindi niya alam. Nu’ng sinagot ko po si R, ‘di na po ako nakipagcommunicate kay A then hindi na din po niya naman ako kinokontak.

  DJ Chloe, kailangan ko pa po kaya kausapin si A. Kasi parang pakiramdam ko po parang gusto ko magkaroon kami ng closure kahit naman po parang ‘di ko matawag na naging kami. Lagi ko po kasi naiisip na do I need to say pa ba why bigla na lang ako nawala and bakit I never said anything too him.

  If Mr. A cared for you even before, days na ‘di ka nagparamdam eh hahanapin ka na.

  There is no need for a closure. No closure is already a closure… you give yourself the closure you need and you don’t need to get it from him.

  Enough. Ni hindi ka nga hinananap, hahanapin mo pa?

  If you’re now happy with M.r R, then ‘wag mo ng guluhin pa ang flourishing relationship niyo.
