Chicosci celebrates their 18th year anniversary in the industry

  The five-piece Filipino rock band Chicosci formerly known as Chico Science was formed sometime in 1996. The band has to change their name from Chico Science to Chicosci to avoid confusion with a Brazilian singer-songwriter of the same name.

  The band was formed from an interschool battle of the bands. The band would spend their prize money from contests in recording demos and that landed them a two-album deal with a record label.

  Years after several albums and singles released and gigs performed, the band is now celebrating their 18^th year in the industry.

  The band is composed of Miggy Chavez, Mong Alcaraz, Macoy Estacio, Ariel Lumanlan and Eco del Rio.

  They are now promoting their single Revalation. The music video of their single is now available on YouTube and is directed by Kevin Mayuga.
