In this day and age, it is very important that we have our minds always alert and always on the go. But the sad reality is, there’s no magic pill on having best cognitive ability.
You need to have a sharp mind to be able to respond to your Boss even if your sleepless and rest less! Sharp and attentive minds will help us to bring our days to completion even if there’s stress, traffic problems, pressure on work and limited time given to accomplish things as scheduled.
There’s no single food that will guarantee us a sharp brain as we age. Coming from the Harvard Health Publishing, we’re bringing you these unknown favorites of yours that will surely take you to a sharp brain:
1. Green and leafy vegetables

You can enjoy eating vegetable salad with kale, spinach, collards and broccoli. They are rich in vitamin K, lutein, folate and beta carotene that will help cognitive decline.
2. Fatty fish

Eating fatty fish twice a week will benefit you omega-3 and fatty acids, healthy unsaturated fats that lowers the levels of beta-amyloid that forms damaging clumps in the brain.
3. Berries

Eating strawberries or blueberries each week can delay memory decline. Plant pigments, namely flavonoids that give berries their brilliant hues, help improve memory.
4. Walnuts

Walnuts are great sources of omega-3 fatty acid, namely alpha-linolenic acid (ALA) that lowers blood pressure and protect arteries which is good for the brain and the heart.
5. Coffee and Tea

Morning consumption of caffeine can contribute in boosting your alertness and concentration. Caffeine can also solidify new memories and can help recognize correctly the image of the previous day. More consumption of coffee and tea, the better mental function.
