Have you heard of cakes and pasta meals that are exclusive for pets?
Yes, you read it right! With the emergence health and wellness options for pets nowadays—from grooming to their specific foods—there are certain pet lovers who managed to formulate different kinds of treats for their beloved pets.
There is a pet restaurant called “Barkin’ Bakes” located in the heart of Maginhawa St. in the Teacher’s Village of Quezon City.
It was seven years ago when Barkin’ Bakes started cooking and baking such feasts for pets. According to them, in order to address the scarcity of time in preparing the food of the furry babies, they help pet owners to rely on treats that are healthy and yet contains tongue-twisting ingredients that can be a reason of their tail-chasing and fur-licking routines.
Barkin’ Bakes offers cakes that are molded into different shapes such as paw-shaped, round and dog bone-shaped as big as 10 inches in diameter. They make it in various flavors such as liver or banana, signature apple, carrot and peanut butter, tuna and vegetables, and salmon and cheese.
Treats and dehydrated goods are also available for the enjoyment of your pets. Commonly available in 110 grams serving are treats made of beef and meatballs, nuts and peanut butter, pumpkin and chamomile, liver and chicken, apple and banana, honey and yogurt and grains.
Some home-cooked meals are being served such as pesto pasta, chicken, beef, salmon, and potato. The restaurant and pet shop also deal with special medical conditions of pets that supports the senior pets, their livers, hearts and kidneys. They also organize home and in-store pet parties that will not break your bank.
Our pets love us unconditionally, and most probably, we are wishing that we can return the love in our own creative ways, at least, in the foods that we offer them. The best way to reciprocate their love is to make sure that they are healthy and cheerful as always.
