Chloe’s Inbox – Miracle after the storm

  Dear DJ Chloe,

  I’m one of your avid fans and I just wanna share my story ‘coz I know a lot of millennials will learn a lesson from it. I just don’t want them committing the same mistakes I’ve done.

  Miracle after the storm is what I can describe about my love story.

  Once I was broken-hearted, feeling taken for granted by someone I used to love. I told myself, whoever is my boyfriend, I wanted him to be the one whom I can end up with. But things didn’t work out the way I expected it to be. With too much love, I lost my virginity, feeling it’s okay, because I thought we will be a married couple in the future, anyway. That was the biggest mistake I have ever done, when I realized he was not man enough to be true to his words! He left me hanging without giving me reasons why he had left me all alone, but still, I was thankful I didn’t get pregnant. I was crying with so much hurt, but what’s even more painful is to see my mom crying as she witnessed how grief-stricken I was that time. It’s all my fault coz I didn’t follow her reminders. I was being stubborn, obeying only my emotions. I sincerely apologized to my mom. I knelt down on my knees, asking for forgiveness & begging GOD to take away all the pain I was feeling inside, that HE may lead me to the right one who is worthy of my love. Kept my faith and didn’t lose hope for I believe our compassionate LORD never left my side.

  Then one day HE heard my prayer, blessed me with a real man, who didn’t even care about my past, loving my imperfections perfectly, prioritizing my happiness even if it takes sacrificing his own; and uttered the sweetest words I’ve ever heard, “now I know why GOD gave me you, so you can never be hurt again.” From then on, all the hurt he turned into endless happiness, felt GOD’S love shone on him, knowing I was blessed with someone more than I truly deserve!

  My ex came back, wanting to win me back, but I didn’t entertain him. He told me that if he could only turn back the time, he would do everything for me. Too late! Then I began to understand why I need to go through being broken-hearted. It was a blessing in disguise! GOD had a better plan, sparing me from the unworthy one, knowing who’s best for me!

  Happily married for 21 years with our two (2) sweet sons! Full of remarkable togetherness, being loved faithfully with priceless happiness! Wonderful miracle happened to me and it can definitely happen to you, because only GOD can make everything possible for us! I am forever grateful to our GOOD LORD!

  I’ve come to realize that VIRGINITY is the best gift you can give not to your partner, but to your SELF ‘coz you did STAND FIRM to what is RIGHT. Never believe that you can only prove your love by giving up your virginity to someone. It doesn’t give you the guarantee that you and him are meant to be! If he really loves you, he will respect you, love you faithfully, and wait for the right moment till he marries you.
