Thank you for keeping an open mind and heart to the issues that we share with you, DJ Chloe. I’m an avid listener at nagbabaka-sakali lang po ako na mabasa niyo ang story ko. I’m currently working as a manager sa isang company here in Makati. Hindi biro ang dinanas ko marating lang ang status ko ngayon. My mother left us for another man dahil wala daw pong future with my father who is magsasaka sa aming probinsya. Simula noon, DJ Chloe, nagsumikap talaga ako para maipamukha sa mama ko na mali siya ng desisyong pinili. That served as my motivation to graduate with honors and to strive hard to earn this position. DJ Chloe, this letter serves two purpose, one is to ask you if tama po ba ang naging motivation ko because until now I’m still not satisfied even though I already proved my mother wrong and pangalawa po, DJ Chloe is to let my mother know, baka lang naman isa siya sa milyon-milyong nakikinig sa program niyo. I just want her to know na ‘yung anak na iniwan niya dati ay nasa maayos ng kalagayan ngayon. Again, thank you so much DJ Chloe and more power sa program niyo.

    Hi Jenny!

If you find out that it doesn’t matter to your mother kung ano narrating mo, what will you feel again? ‘Di ba mas lalo ka na namang magagalit, and all the more you will feel bitter and neglected.

There are people who are only “biological” parents so to speak, but they’re not really meant to be “parents”. I think you need to do a lot of forgiving.

First, forgive yourself for being angry too long. Can’t blame you though, but don’t you think you’ve been angry enough? You have been blessed already. Nawalan ka ng nanay to look after you, but God took care of you, He kept you safe and blessed you.

The anger you feel is preventing you from enjoying what you have accomplished, so let it go. Ibang tao ka na ngayon. Make peace with your past nga, ‘di ba? So, it doesn’t disrupt your future.

Second, forgive your mother, after all, you won’t be here if not for her. At the end of the day, she is still your mother.

Celebrate your life, what you’ve been through, your experience with your mother should teach you what you shouldn’t become.
