• Just a few days before the Labor Day, there is this tweet that trended online. Have you heard of it? If none, the gist of the story is: There is this person who is a graduate of a prestigious university decline a P37,000 salary for an entry-level position. If you were in his/her place, would you accept the job knowing the average salary for a fresh grad is only around P15,000? Should a salary of a fresh grad depends where he/she graduated?

  In this episode of Coffee Break, DJs Chloe, Nick, and Shai talked about how much should a fresh grad’s salary is. They also shared how much were they earning on their first jobs. Shai also revealed that aside from studying, she was juggling three jobs because they were not paying enough. The three agreed that this issue has caused a discourse where it’s about time people should not let others take advantage of your skills and experience. In the end, Chloe, Nick, and Shai shared some tips for fresh grads and first-time jobbers.
