Chloe’s Inbox: My husband has courted another woman

• Hi DJ Chloe,

  I need some advise and I hope you can enlighten me. I’m 46, married for 21 years with two young adults 24 and 18. To start it off, it was during the peak of pandemic. I was not expecting for it to happen in our 20 years of married life. My husband works in a market as a meat vendor. It started as a dare, then they made my husband court a girl for a week. He agreed and he courted the girl by texting and calling and in a week, sinagot siya. Well apparently, ramdam ko na something is going on. One night nag-chat si girl at hindi alam ng husband ko na gising ako and on the spot binlock ko si girl. I also caught them texting. My husband and I fought and he told me na it was nothing serious. I was really hurt that I even thought of hurting myself but my husband was able to stop me from doing so. I let it pass but I knew that they still have a communication. He really changed a lot. I got curious so I checked his phone and there I found out that they were still talking. Of course, my husband still denied it. I just don’t know what to do that night. It really broke me and I wasn’t even able to tell my parents cause I knew they’ll get mad. DJ Chloe, I really don’t know what to do. I can’t trust him anymore and most of the time he lies to me. Please help me. How can we arrange this? I’m so tired. Do you think they still have a communication? Do they still see each other kasi may puwesto pa rin siya sa market. Please enlighten me.
