Vivoree shares about ‘new persona,’ love, and more through single ‘Matapang’

• In this special Easy Rock interview, Vivoree opened up about her journey to fearlessness in love through her latest single, “Matapang.” The song encapsulates the idea of being courageous when it comes to matters of the heart. It tells the story of initially struggling to express feelings or overcome fear but eventually finding the strength to admit, “I like this person.”

  The singer, in her quest to showcase a different side of herself for her coming-of-age EP, collaborated with exceptionally talented female songwriters and producers. This new musical direction is a departure from her previous songs and the manner in which she was perceived, as she was often recognized for her innocence. Now, she presents a bolder version of herself – equipped with the courage to speak up for her personal experiences.

  “Matapang” was composed by Danielle Balagtas, skillfully produced by Ashley Aunor, and released under Star Music.

  Vivoree is a singer-songwriter, actress, and former housemate of the famed Filipino reality series, “Pinoy Big Brother.” Apart from her musical endeavors, she has also starred in various shows like the IWantTFC series “Hello Stranger,” “Tara, G!” and “He’s Into Her,” to name a few.
