  Hi DJ Chloe! Random question lang po. How can you say that you’ve already moved on?

  I’m in a relationship right now for 2 years and I love her. I guess. She was my dream girl eh. Pero pagnakikita ko ang pictures nu’ng classmate ko before parang naiisip ko pa din what could have happened kung nakipagcompete ako dun sa pinili niya over me. Tutal sabi niya that time ako naman daw ‘yung mahal niya. May suicidal tendencies lang daw talaga ‘yung other guy. I wanna keep my relationship right now for good. Not just because siya ‘yung dream girl ko but because she accepted me and loved me for what I am. I don’t want to be unfair to her, pero mahirap pala talaga kalimutan ‘yung past. Any advice po?   Some people can move on in days and weeks, some years, some are never able to move on.

  Your story doesn’t seem clear. Pinili niya ba ‘yung guy at kasal na siya? If so, back off.  If not, take chance.

  But if you do that, you risk hurting your girlfriend now for 2 years. Itatapon mo ang 2 years para lang magbakasakali? Another thing is, how can you be so sure na gusto ka pa niya ngayon–itong si classmate mo before?

  You know, sometimes we just have to accept the fact that we have lost people because we were afraid of the unknown. Afraid of being hurt, afraid of being rejected, afraid of not being accepted as you are, and afraid of not being loved back in return, afraid of so many things.

  Things happen for a reason and the reason why you didn’t end with her is that, I guess, you guys were not meant to be.

  So why waste your time wishing and hoping that you should have done this and that. And while you’re wishing and hoping about what might have been, you’re losing your TODAY.
