Best advice

  Hi Dj Chloe,

  If you remember me I also wrote in your inbox and after that I kept on reading all your letters and advices. I even took note some of it. Anyway, after reading your advice for more than ten times, I’ve talked to my mom and told her everything that I’ve kept in my heart for so long and finally my mom said, “Naiintindihan kita anak, ina din ako, at alam ko ang nararamdaman mo.” I told her that I loved my husband and I want my kids to meet and know their
  father. After praying and crying to God for his grace and mercy and favor, my mom agreed to let him see our kids. Now, he is focus on work. My mom also said to pray that God would touch papa’s heart. Again, thank you for your advice.

  I’m glad you came back to let me know what’s happening in your life now. I am glad to know that you have taken heed the advice given to you not only by me but the rest of the people who took the time to give you a piece of their mind. It’s good that you have somehow opened up to your mom. You know mother knows best. And she knows exactly what you’re feeling and what you’re about to say even before you started speaking. Believe me, what a mother want is just happiness for her children. Breaking your heart and seeing you in pain is like breaking her spirit. Mas masakit sa magulang ang makitang nasasaktan ang anak nila. With regards to your husband, time heals everything. Maybe there’s an issue about him kaya ayaw ng parents mo but if he shows them he is deserving of you am sure lalambot din sila. People change. If I may borrow the words of my colleague Justin Taylor, we all have shits in our lives, we do things were not proud of, but what’s important is NOW. What he is now and what he intends to do to make himself a better person because people change. Allow the process to take over. Give everything to God for He knows who and what is good for you.
