  Dear DJ Chloe,

  I have recently learned that my husband is flirting with his officemate, someone way much younger than both of us. I am close to barging in their office to give the girl a mag-asawang sampal. And yes, it’s confirmed, I have seen purchases sa credit card bill, ng mga chocolates, lunch out bills even a ladies pair of pumps na hindi naman ako ang kumuha or hindi sa akin ibinigay. I know walang gustong magsabi sa akin, kahit I am close to some of his friends and officemates for fear of getting involved and as usual, the wife is always the last to know. I know you’re a very sensible woman, so please, can you tell me what to do? This young lady clearly doesn’t have any morals. And I am sure she is aware of my existence, and yet she accepts things from my husband. Hindi lang siya nakaksira ng pamilya, nakakasira din siya ng budget. There was also an instance na may naiwang container ng milk tea sa kotse! Hindi naman ako tanga eh, at mukhang hindi magaling magtago ang asawa ko. Will wait for your reply. Thank you.

  Ramdam ko ang poot! Hahahaha! You know, ‘yung tita ko nu’n sumugod din sa office ng tito ko para awayin ang number 2. Kaso dumaan muna siya sa doctor niya, binigyan siya ng pampakalma. So pagdating dun, kalmado na siya! So, lesson of the story, ‘wag kang dumaan sa doctor, ha? Hahahaha! Anyways, marami kasing babae, ‘di naman lahat, na kapag malilibre sila kahit ‘di nila feel at alam nilang may asawa eh patol din sila. Mahal ang milk tea ha? Kung weekly—three or four times magkano ‘yun? Pambigas na rin ‘yun at ilang kilong manok for the entire household! Hahahaha!

  It’s normal that the wife is always the last to know, sometimes nga eh they never get to know the truth. Kung confirmed mo ‘yan, confront your husband, but make sure you have all the evidences para mahirapan siyang magdeny. Siya ang unahin mo kasi siya ang lumalapit sa babae, give him an ultimatum. If, still, it doesn’t work or ganun pa din, go to the HR manager and complain. Complain about the two of them (ready ka if mawalan ng work si hubby?). Kasi, obviously, the young lady is also leading him on! Accepting anything from a married man whom you know is making a pass on you or at you, makes you also guilty of flirting back. Opo, because if you have morals, the moment he starts flirting with you, you will mention his wife to him and resist the urge to respond. It takes two to tango! Avoid the temptation to respond to anything that he says—over e-mail, texts, or phone calls. If you have to, stick to impersonal behavior and resist to give or share any personal information. Eh panay din ang sagot mo ‘pag tinanong ka ng gusto mo ng milk tea, kaya ayan. The ending niyan is always gulo ‘pag nalaman ni misis. So madam, madali lang naman mang gulo eh, mas maganda sa labas ng office, ‘wag dun. Baka balikan ka ng office ng public scandal,l hahahaha. As I’ve said madali lang manggulo, but what happens after the gulo? Maintain your composure, ikaw pa din ang asawa, don’t stoop down to her level. But make sure she knows what you can be capable of doing in case she continues to encourage your husband into giving her things.
