Do not let yesterday take much of your today

  Hi DJ Chloe,

  I’m 28 now and had this sinful relationship on a married woman (which I didn’t know) 7 years back. I accept that it’s my fault; courting and being in a relationship with someone whom I don’t know well. I believed all the things she said to me back then because I loved her. Love that stops me from being with someone up to now. She’s married and had two kids and her husband works abroad when I knew her. I don’t know anything back then and didn’t even tried to because I’m stupid. She have 3 kids now and I believe that the youngest is my son. I found her on Facebook just last year but she didn’t answer my hellos and she didn’t even accept friend requests. I always ask God for forgiveness. I don’t want to harm her happy family. I just hope I can ask her one last time for a closure. Whatever the truth is I’ll always pray for the happiness of their family that I ruined.

   

  Hi there! If she is still with her husband and she has chosen to be with him instead of you then you did not ruin anything. Your intention of asking for forgiveness weighs much more than your need for closure. If you have a son with her, it’s for her to tell you and not for you to assume. If she is ignoring you then that’s your closure. Move on with your life and find someone to love and not to have sin with again. Good luck.
