Don’t Settle for Less

  Hi Dj Chloe,

  Seeking for advice. I have this officemate who happens to be a married man. Bago lang ako sa department namin and I’m so blessed na dun ako napunta until this “guy” sent me a text message last night that he likes me. He asked me kung pwede ko daw ba siya bigyan ng chance. Only girl ako sa team at laging masaya kapag napapatawa ko sila with my funny lines. ‘Di ko ine-expect na sasabihin niya sa’kin na gusto niya ako. Kasi mabait at tahimik lang siya. Siya ang lagi kong napagtatanungan regarding reports, etc. Sabi ko sa kanya na ayaw ko sa offer niya and yet iniinsist pa din niya. Pag sa office tahimik lang siya pero minsan pinapadaanan niya ko sa email namin. Ini-ignore ko na lang at dinadaan sa biro ang mga hirit niya. Naiilang na po ako sa kanya ngayon pag sa office kami. Nahihiya naman akong ‘wag sya pansinin.

  It’s either he has an impression that he can get you with his persistence or he is really like that. You know presko and thinks he can get any girl he has his eyes on even if he is so very much married. I very much pity his poor wife. Save his text messages and tell him you will bring the matter to your HR department, and if you need to even to his wife. It’s very offensive at nakakabastos that he sees you as a cheap girl he can just get or convince with his pa-cute text na kung pwede eh kayo na na sa totoo lang eh napaka cheap. No brainer at pathetic na style ng mga lalaking may asawa na gustong maka-isa! I hope you’re not weak enough to give in to this guy because you are at the losing end of this story. He is married. End of story.
