    Dear Dj Chloe,

Until when should I be patient with my husband who gives me disappointment, heart-ache, who has no appreciation, and who takes me for granted? He’s always the priority and he’s always given a chance but abuses it and sometimes he’s a liar. That’s my only question before I tell my irritating and nerve-wrecking story. Thank you.

    Ms. Pasensyosa

    Dear Ms. Pasensyosa,

First of all, let me remind you of the vow you made before God “…for better or for worse”, right?

When you marry a person you marry everything about that person the good, the bad, the tolerable, the intolerable, every single thing. You marry and you accept, even the things you can’t change. To be honest with you, I have decided to be alone simply because I am not an enduring kind of person. In marriage, a woman has to have that kind of trait to be enduring otherwise, you will end up like me. Being alone has perks and being married has perks too. I am pretty sure it’s not all bad for you, right? In marriage, love don’t come easy there will be a lot of times when you will work out that love you once felt because in marriage. Love needs a lot of working out, for many times you will feel the love has become hatred and hatred is all you will feel.

The Bible says “Marriage is not for the faint hearted” and it’s true. And since God is the author of marriage and love. I would say that you rant everything about your situation to Him. I really believe that if you put God first in everything then He will make things work for you. All for the good of you. Pray unceasingly for your husband, pray for endurance and pray for strength to carry on. It won’t be easy, but it will be bearable if you have God with you. I can’t tell you to leave him, unless staying with him is detrimental to you then leave. But all marriages go thru hell it’s up to both of you to find your way back to heaven again. Good luck.

    -Chloe
