  Hello Dj Chloe,

  I have these two siblings that I am not really getting along well with. One wants me to keep his secret but he’s not even participating with me as if I was the one who needs help. The other one was a feeler, she’s been this kind of bully since she got her job. Yesterday, I errupted like a volcano. I just can’t stand the way she’s treating me. She always calls me “sipsip”. For what, for helping my parents? What’s so “sipsip” with that? And when they are at stake they’ll start asking why my parents do not scold me. See how narrow minded they are! They’re both acting like kids and if I had to choose another sibling, why not? I know it sounds so mean but I can’t stand them anymore. Please give me some tips on how to deal with this. Thank you.

  Dear Ms. S,
  Siblings conflict will and always be a part of our lives. Magkakapatid man kayo but you will all grow up to be entirely different persons. Different from each other. I don’t really understand much your situation because of the very limited information you gave. If they call you “sipsip” for helping your parents let them for as long as your conscience is clear. Sometimes when you get offended by a sibling it’s better not to fight back. Kasi ‘di mo rin matitiis ‘yan kahit mag-away kayo ng bongga dahil kapatid mo ‘yan. And blood will always be thicker than water. If you say they are narrow-minded then just be the one to understand. Tutal ikaw ang hindi narrow minded sa pananaw at tingin mo sa inyong tatlo.
