Stop Caring or Go Away

  Dearest DJ Chloe,

  I’m confused right now on what to do or what to feel. I am presently here in Middle East where my husband works too. Two years ago we almost end up our relationship because of third party on his side but I still choose to forgive him because I love him. We are in a Christian Community now. The problem is the girl we fought over is also our church mate and we get together ever fellowship and service. I’m confused on how should I act when she’s around; to think that she and my husband had a “fling history”. For now, I am civil with her but I don’t talk to her but with our environment now, it’s impossible for us not to encounter each other because everyone’s okay with me except her. My husband and I are not talking about this. Maybe he’s trying to get away from it or he doesn’t want to talk about it. But I am very confused on what should I feel or how should I react about this. I would greatly appreciate your reaction and advice towards this. Thank you so much, DJ Chloe.

  I am a Christian myself and seriously I do not want to be really judgmental. When you say fling history how deep was it? Was it like crush or nanligaw ang asawa mo sa kanya? Or was it more of a physical relationship with no strings attached? If it was more than physical pa I will really be very awkward seeing her during fellowships.

  Wala na po bang ibang church sa lugar niyo? Because with all honesty, I don’t think I will ever be comfortable seeing the other woman and to even try to exchange some pleasantries with her. Baka sabunot abutin sa’kin niyan. Better talk to your Pastor or elders of your church and if you can find another church, maybe it would be best na lumipat na lang kayo. Just my two cents.
