Talk About Cheating

  Dear Chloe,

  A couple of days ago, my boyfriend left his cell phone in my car. I didn’t think much of it and went through it. Guess what? I found some text messages from his ex-girlfriend, not regular texts, but flirty texts!!!! I almost threw up sa galit at nerbyos ko. I felt really cold after reading them. I have been with him off-and-on for 2 years! What should I do? I confronted him about it and all he said was that she is just a friend. Help me, please! What do I need to do? Trust him or leave him?!

  Your boyfriend, clearly, is pretty shady Kyla. And being able to find out something like that is lethal! What you did, going through his cell, is a red flag my dear. If you felt truly secure in the relationship, you wouldn’t even be tempted to spy on his phone, right? It doesn’t sound like you trust him and that’s not a good thing at all. Talk to him and tell him how it bothers you a lot and consider these things that you can do : 1. Investigate. Dig deeper.  Since when did this start? Find out more 2. Believe him and let it go. 3. Or you can choose to LET HIM GO AND END THINGS. As I always say, you should do what feels right and if it doesn’t feel right, then it’s definitely wrong! Trust your instincts –usually, they won’t let you down.
