You Just Can’t Undo Life

  Way back 2010 I have a boy friend abroad. We were planning to be together in another country and work there. But because of a joke I got married unexpectedly. I married a guy I don’t love. I got imprisoned in a relationship which I am not happy. Now, I’m in a constant communication with my boyfriend before. I love him so much. I am planning to leave my husband and go away with my boyfriend. Am I doing the right thing? We don’t have a child, after all.

  I’ll try to extract some lines in your letter, “but because of a joke I got married unexpectedly. I married a guy I don’t love. ” So now you know that annulments are no joke. I don’t really know what you mean when you said “because of a joke”. Hindi ginagawang biro ang pagpapakasal dahil hindi rin biro ang magpa-annul ng kasal. ” I got imprisoned in a relationship which I am not happy. Now, I’m in a constant communication with my boyfriend before. I am planning to leave my husband and go away with my boyfriend. Am I doing the right thing?” Why not make things right? File for annulment and set yourself free. And when you’re already free try to be alone for a while and re-think your choices. Do you really want to be with your ex-boyfriend na ipinagpalit mo lang dahil sa isang biro? Or gusto mo munang manahimik at mag-isa until such time you learn that you are always responsible for your every action and decisions. Life may be trial and error sometimes but you can’t be sure of your every move. You can’t just go back and undo what you have done.
