    APPLES

An apple a day keeps the doctor away! But apples are not fun to eat if you won’t hear that crisp sound and taste its juices as you munch them!

So start keeping your apples inside the fridge than in the counter to maintain their crispiness and freshness. And don’t forget to put them inside a plastic bag and put them away with the vegetables because apples produce ethylene which can make some vegetables go bad quickly.

    BROWN SUGAR

We are used to putting the brown sugar inside the refrigerator to keep it away from the ants. Well, that one will surely secure the sugar from your tiny pets at home but it doesn’t really help in containing the sugar’s quality.

So, it’s time to grab some airtight containers and store your sugar there at a room temperature and your sugar will be alright. :)

    HOT SAUCE

You can now save some space in your fridge because your hot sauce collection will be fine at a room temperature up to three years. Just don’t forget to take note of the dates, okay?

    MAPLE SYRUP

For all the pancake lovers, your default syrup will be better inside the refrigerator for six months if they are pure. But if they’re artificial they will be good inside your kitchen cabinet. :)

    ONIONS AND GARLIC

Your mom might have a certain container for onions and garlic inside the refrigerator. But to maximize their shelf life and flavor bring that container out! Replace it with basket or mesh bag for air circulation and just place it in the pantry. Your onions and garlic are in good and happy place with that.

    PEANUT BUTTER

If you’re grabbing an all-natural PB put it inside the refrigerator but if it’s processed, the cupboard will be a good hub for your favorite spread.

    TOMATOES

Hey, your fridge is making your tomatoes soft and mushy. Just put them in a counter and they will be alright.
