Ever craved for some Indian cuisine but can’t seem to find one in the Metro? Well, there is this place located in Poblacion, Makati called Royal Indian Curry House (RICH) that will surely satisfy your Indian food cravings.
RICH is open until the wee hours of the night. Aside from the fine dining experience, They also have two bars inside their restaurant. First is the sport-themed bar where you can enjoy drinks and play billiards as well. The second is the bar located at the 6F where DJs perform and belly dancing are held.
Don’t get intimidated of their because If you’re the type of person who enjoys Indian cuisine but not a fan of spicy foods, you don’t need to worry about it, as you can request for the food to be mild, moderate or spicy.
Here are some of their best sellers that are worth trying:
Hyderabadi Biryani (P569)
Delicious basmati rice partnered with cuts of lamb put inside a clay pot that is sealed with dough and baked in the oven. It was a little spicy, (Yes, really tolerable) with the taste of lamb as well as the meat itself present in each bite.
Bhatti Ka Paneer (P449)
A dish perfect for vegetarians. It is made up of cottage cheese marinated in special Indian spices.
Murg Tikka Butter Masala (P439)
The combination of the creamy and spicy tomato gravy and the paneer or fresh cheese gives the dish a rich flavor. It can also serve as a dip for your cheese or butter naans.
Cassata (P219)
Gulab Jamun (P149)
So, if you want to taste something different, I’m sure RICH is the right place for you.
Though the prices of their dishes are a little bit on the high end, but hey, I must tell you that you’ll not regret spending your money and time at this restaurant.
