‘Free groceries for everyone’ trends online

  Amidst the negative news that you see online, there are still a few stories that would really lift your spirits and will give hope to each of you.

  A church organization launched an initiative that earned several praises from netizens online.

  Last April 9, a project of Members of the Church of God International in Las Pinas gave free groceries to the public. Everyone is welcome to get what they need and don’t have to pay a single cent.

  The project was launched last March 14, 2021 with over 600 plus and counting stores worldwide! The project was initially for the members of the organization until finally it was opened to the public. This project earned a lot of positive feedback from the netizens after it trended online.

  Those who are in need simply has to go to their location and get what they need but they have to go through the steps for everyone’s safety first. There are available kilos of rice, grocery items, toiletries and many more.  Aside from these, there are also clothes and foot wears available in case they need it. Each item is limited per person so they can still cater others.

  Lovely Sotto is one of the volunteers in this project and according to her, “Nakakatuwa ‘yung iba na pumunta kanina kasi sinasabi nila ‘Bibilisan ko lang po kumuha para po makakuha rin yung iba.’ Kahit hirap na sa buhay, iniisip parin nila yung kapwa.”

  This only proves that even those who are in need are still considerate of others.

  What is also good about this project is this is worldwide! Wider reach, more people will be able to receive these blessings!
