Are you a canine lover? Do you want to make your coffee sessions extra special? Do you want to do something relaxing while playing with your best friend?
There is a coffee shop in the metropolitan that will make you eager to meet your new friends and to have a good time playing with them while having a cup of your favorite blend.
Barkin’ Blends opens its doors to everyone to provide some venue of relaxation for their guests. As they said, they want guests to experience a unique twist of a café where they house approximately 30 resident dogs and let guests give them utmost love and care.
This coffee shop located in Cainta, Rizal believes that the bond between humans and dogs enhances the lives of everyone and every dog.
The peaceful co-existence of human beings and animals is truly promoted in this place.
Barkin’ Blends take good care of different breeds of dogs in their shop.
The family of dogs is almost complete in their house because they are composed of Beagle, Golden Retriever, Irish Setter, Chinese Shar-pei, Siberian Husky, Yorkshire Terrier, Chiweenie, Lhasa Apso, Labrador Retriever, Pug, Shih Tzu, Poodle, Basset Hound, Maltese, Dalmatian, Jack Russell, American Cocker Spaniel, Miniature Schnauzer, Boston Terrier and Dachshund.
You can call them by their respective names that you would really love.
Your enthusiasm to canines will surely be exceptional with the menu that they can offer while having your stay in the shop.
Blends such as coffee, both hot and cold servings of frappe from cappuccino, chocolate, mocha, vanilla and cookies and cream. They offer tea and chocolate as well.
Drinks can be made more special with pasta and several types of handcrafted burgers and their special golden salted egg wings.
Barkin’ Blends is typically open everyday except Tuesday from 12:00 NN to 9:00 PM. Special announcements are done when unexpected circumstances happened.
Every guest should pay PhP 219.00 to enter the dog zone which is inclusive of one free drink. There is no need for guests to make reservations for it operates on a first-come, first-serve basis. A maximum of 30 persons are allowed inside the dog zone while guests can stay in the dog zone with the maximum of two hours only.
Guests are advised not to bring any food nor drinks inside the dog zone for it can harm the dogs immediately. Guests are allowed to sit with the ‘barkin’ buddies’ but to carry them is prohibited so as to tease them with accessories such as car and door keys and the like. Guests are also requested not to pull body parts of dogs that could physically hurt them.
Guests can make photos of dogs. Selfie and groupie are also allowed but refrain from using flash while using cameras.
On the other hand, the management conveys some restrictions in order that both the coffee shop and the security and health of dogs will be ensured. Guests are not allowed to bring their own pets in the café. The staff follows a shifting schedule to prevent the dogs from too much stress.
