In our times, it seems that we don’t celebrate Christmas the traditional way we celebrate it before. There were families sharing dinner, exchanging gifts, singing Christmas carols and exchanging stories individually.
Oftentimes, most especially today, the common nature that we find is we greet each other on social media. Everything seems to undergo social media before anything else. The real essence of the season seems to diminish because of commercialization of celebrations and the materialistic way of giving gifts and of certain factors we have today.
We can do something good and noble when we make our Christmas greetings extra special.
- Make special treats for everybody
You can give everyone a delightful through several treats that you can prepare just within your kitchen.
You can bake pastries such as cookies, cakes, and the like for your friends while you can bring chocolates and candies for the kids.
- Bring your friends out
Bring them out that they may enjoy the goodness of places and different foods that people can offer.
You can bring them to your favorite coffee shops or ay venue that will fit your hang out preference. Bring them to restaurants that you love so that they may enjoy what you have enjoyed there before.
This will be the great time to unwind and to reminisce things that you missed because of too much clinging into your workloads.
- Give your parents and grandparents special juices and salads
With their age, the way you enjoy might not be their way to enjoy Christmas season. So better to prepare them what they love during their stay in your homes.
Give the grownups the juice that they want to sip on. Bring them healthy salads that will help them to stay healthy and fit. It will be a great time for them to relax and to enjoy foods that rarely served on their tables.
- Prepare your family a special dinner
For how many times in a year that all your family members eat together for lunch or dinner. Because of our busy schedules, we also tend to forgot our daily family affair around the dining table.
That’s why Christmas is an ample time to prepare them all their favorites. Cook them all the cheesy stuff and all the creamy delights that you can offer. Add some spicy flavors that they cannot forgot how you bring joy on the table. Make your dishes guarantee to please both young and old!

- Don’t forget the less fortunate
After giving our guests and our own relatives the goodness of the holiday season, let us not forget the less fortunate that cannot celebrate Christmas because of scarcity of resources and insufficiency.
After we feast with all that we prepared for, it’s time to bring the joy to others.
We can prepare with our friends food packs and some grocery items that we can serve for those who are in streets. We can give children and their families Noche Buena items that they may be shared. We can organize feeding programs filled with nutritious foods to ensure that those to be consumed by them will surely help them physically and mentally.
