  The pandemic might have taken away a lot of opportunities to many, but the same pandemic also paved way for creative business-minded people to start up their own small businesses.

  No business is small to big dreamers like these people behind the creative hole-in-the-wall cafés. Some might have been their way of getting back up again after losing their day jobs to the pandemic while some just decided to push through with their life-long dreams to put up their own coffee shops despite the current situation.

  The Klassiko Kafe

  This café might be new in the game, yet, it has already been receiving attention and great feedback from its customers.

  Located in Paete, Laguna, The Klassiko Kafe are serving crafted beverages to its local customers for two months already but the owners have been conceiving the idea of this café since 2018.

  This café is inspired by Parisian outdoor café and bistro. They are serving beverages and foods that complement each other. Their best-seller is the Tsokolate Noir (Dark Chocolate). It has been the crowd’s favorite since the opening.

  Aside from what’s in their great menu, The Klassiko Kafe is planning to expand their menu soon. So you better watch out for that!

  They are open from Wednesdays to Sundays, 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

  Kapeweñoz Specialty Coffee Davao.ph

  After losing his job as a barista in Davao, John Rey Plaza decided to put up his mobile café to make both ends meet and then Kapeweñoz Specialty Coffee Davao.ph is born.

  He started with selling coffee beans to his customers first but after three months, the sales went down and that’s when he decided to convert his motorcycle into a mobile coffee shop.

  He uses Arabica coffee beans that is beneficial to his customers’ health. He is not only earning for a living, but he is also promoting local farmers from Mindanao.

  Muni Coffee PH

  This Japanese-inspired coffee shop in Longos, Kalayaan, Laguna is also taking the internet by storm.

  This coffee shop serves affordable coffee to local motorists and passersby. Later on they were also visited by customers from nearby provinces.

  Muni Coffee PH strives to advocate for sustainability and uses sugarcane straws and cups to serve customers their beverages.

  They are open from Tuesdays to Sundays, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.

  Typica Coffee

  Who would’ve thought that converting a sari-sari store into a Japanese-inspired coffee shop would click actually click?

  Due to the pandemic, the owner was forced to close his two-month-old coffee shop and later on convert a sari-sari store into a Japanese-inspired coffee shop.

  Aside from its beverages, Typica Coffee also offers pastries like Basque burnt cheesecake, cheese tart and vegan chocolate chip cookies

  Typica Coffee is located in East Rodriguez Avenue, Tanay, Rizal.
