Sinigang ranks as top vegetable soup in the world

  Pinoy favorite Sinigang has made it to the top of the best vegetable soup in the world list according to an international food and lifestyle website Tastle Atlas.

  According to tasteatlas.com, out of the other 161 vegetable soups that are in the list, the Pinoy favorite Sinigang got a rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars.

  For those who still don’t know what a Sinigang is, it is a classic Filipino soup that is made of pork or any of your choice of meat and vegetables. Its soup is commonly made of sampalok giving you that sour and savory flavor. Aside from tamarind, you can use other souring agents like guava, calamansi, kamias and other native fruits.

  Sinigang is best served hot and with rice.
