Things You Must Know Before Conquering a Smorgasbord!

    The food trend is becoming broader now. People are becoming more adventurous in tasting new cuisines and recipes. Some even got into cooking and making different versions of dishes. While some were into making unique versions of ordinary food such as burgers, hotdogs, and ice creams. But lately, eat-all-you-can restaurants has become affordable. Buffet restaurants were just here, there, and almost everywhere.

    Smorgasbords already reached its hype–that it is not only done during special occasions but also on regular days. Restaurants today offer buffets with a particular cuisine giving the public a different taste. And we can’t deny that eat-all-you-can restos are on top of the trend in food industry.

    So, since we know that trying buffet restaurants will be part of your bucket lists, we made a list of things that you must consider before conquering the smorgasbord.

    1. YOU’LL EAT BIG, DON’T EAT MUCH

    Since you’ll be eating big time, make sure that you didn’t have heavy meal before that. Make sure, as well, that it is not empty! For sure you know the consequence when you do.

    2. LOOK AROUND FIRST

    You have a lot of choices and some of them are familiar to you. Don’t get too excited and get everything that you think you can eat. Say “pass” to that favorite Kalderata of yours because there’s lamb chops somewhere. Unless you eat lamb chops every now and then. Be sure to get dishes that you don’t usually eat. Then when you’re done tasting unfamiliar dishes, it’s time to get your favorites.

    3. TAKE YOUR TIME

    You have to remember that food is unlimited; you won’t run out of them. Don’t get full right away because as long as you’re sitting on that restaurant, you have the freedom to taste all the food that your eyes can see.

    4. PLAN THE DETOX

    For sure, there are oily, fatty and too sweet dishes that you’ve eaten that are not really helpful to your health. It is important how you’ll detoxify everything you’ve eaten and how you’ll make up with your excessive intake of different dishes.

    Remember buffets are no joke! It’s something to enjoy but also something to be careful of! :)
