• Sometimes, we wish we could turn back time to the good old days. Maybe even just for a while?

  Hey, let’s pause for a moment and go back to the days where our “snacks” were the really Instagram-worthy ones. Let’s go back to the moments when the real #foodie is at the nearest sari-sari store!

  Shout out to all the 90’s kids who had these real cool stuff…

  

  CANDIES FOR THE BAD KIDS

  Here’s to all the bad kids! Hahahaha! Did you remember when you imitate your dad or your tito and the way they smoke cigarettes? And your imitation becomes so legit when you have this candies. Although the concept has crossed the line, this candy will certify you as “batang astigin.” Hit on!

  

  JUICE KO PO!

  Who said that your drink must be so expensive?  Well, if you’re from the 90’s, you’re one of the coolest if you have these thirst quenchers with nata de coco or frosty! You know that “Agawang Base” is over when the gang is already at the sari-sari store and consuming all these in no time.

  And how much are these again? Well, you don’t really need a hundred or more! You just need three pesos and be one of the coolest kid in your street.

  

  THE BABY FOOD

  You’re not a legit Filipino baby if you didn’t have this as your milk teeth starts to pop! Hahaha! Parents let their babies have this because it easily melts in the tongue. And admit it, even if you’re not a baby anymore, you know that you’ll munch this when you get to see one.

  GOT MILK?

  Who can forget “Mik-Mik”? It gave us all the idea that powdered milk is better than the one mixed with water. Hahahahaha! And who won’t feel nostalgic with the milk candy “Haw Haw”. We just love them to bits!

  

  SWEETS FOR LESS!

  And here’s to all the kids who were the happiest with candies for a peso! We just wish that these candies can fight all the adult-ing struggles that we have now. Because if it can, there’ll surely be a scarcity of these! LOL!

  

  CALL THE DOCTOR VERY QUICK!

  Legit Pinoy candy it is! Remember when you play doktor-doktoran? These were your meds! Haaayyyy, very nostalgic! Hope these candies can really cure. Especially our heart aches and heart breaks! #SoMuchFeels #HugotNaHugot

  PAINT MY TONGUE

  Candies with different  flavors, with different texture and, with different colors that will make your mouth go wild! And swear, brushing your teeth was not enough to remove the paint! HASSLE!

  

  PAMBANSANG FOOD TRIP

  Didn’t we tell you that you can have your food trip using your spare coins? Yeah, it can be less expensive, for real! Hahahaha!

  There’s so much food and snacks that can bring us back on moments where everything is just fun and less toxic. These stuff were not just munchies. They’re memories. Well, they might be just memories now but, at least, they’re good one. And for sure, it will never be tiring to go walk down the memory lane.
