The Filipino-American pop sensation Olivia Rodrigo officially dropped her second Guts single “bad idea right?” on Friday, August 11. The song explores how “bad of an idea” it is to reconnect with a former lover.

This feature is now accessible for all Instagram users, enabling them to infuse music into their photo carousels.
The song’s music video, directed by Petra Collins, adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the playful tune, with fans spotting clever references to popular shows like Glee and Euphoria within the visuals.
Rodrigo’s previous single “vampire,” released on June 30, made a remarkable debut by clinching the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
Her achievements continue as she secures five nominations at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs), with “bad idea right?” being recognized in categories including Video of the Year, Song of the Year, Best Pop, Best Cinematography, and Best Editing.
