‘Closer’ rules Billboard Hot 100 for 12 weeks

  The Chainsmokers and Halsey dominate the Billboard Hot 100 for a 12th week with their summer hit ‘Closer’ according to Billboard.

  With its 12th week on top of the chart, ‘Closer’ now becomes one of the 17 songs to rule the Hot 100 for at least 12 weeks.

  ‘Closer’ which featured Halsey remains the top-selling, most streamed and most-heard radio song in the U.S..

  Meanwhile, Rae Sremmurd’s ‘Black Beatles’ featuring Gucci Mane moves 13-9 and Drake’s new single ‘Fake Love’ vaults 24-10.

  In the history of the Hot 100 chart, ‘One Sweet Day’ holds the all-time record, 16 weeks at no.1 in 1995-1996.
