5 Things To Do If You’re REALLY Moving On This Year

That breakup before the new year really sucks! Who wants to welcome the new year in pain? Ugh!
Before anything else, we just want to say to those who had their hearts broken before new year, that will be the last.
We know that it sucks to welcome another year moving on. Imagine, your resolution is to move on. But it’s already there, we just gotta accept it and let’s do the grind!
1. Tell yourself that you’re not okay.
There’s no such thing as unpainful breakup. Every separation hurts. Everyone knows that there’s a little pinch in your heart on every “I’m okay,” “I’m fine” that you say. Your friends know that you still cry at night every after self-encouragement tweet you do. They know that in between drinking games and laughter you’re still wishing that he/she will call you and tell you to go home sober.
It’s okay to admit that you’re not okay yet. It’s okay if you can’t help but get sad in between happy moments. It’s okay if you’ll cry while partying with friends. Because admitting that you’re not really okay is your first step to healing.
2. Stop trying.
Stop trying if he/she will still worry about you not getting home sober. Stop the drunk calls. Stop messaging him/her to ask directions. Because if you still love the person, go and chase him/her. Don’t try. Don’t test the waters. Tell it straight. And if it’s he/she’s not into you, you just gotta accept it and stop. Because if the universe wants you together, no one can separate you from each other.
3. Love yourself more this year.
Not just because you are moving on. Not just because you have to let go of the pain. Not just becase you want to get healed. No, it’s more than those things. Loving yourself is positioning yourself to love others. Because you’ll learn how to give love like the love you want to receive. Loving yourself means taking into consideration your standards. It means giving importance to your worth. Loving yourself is being strong enough to stand for yourself before someone stands for you.
Love yourself more this year, you deserve it. Before anyone else, it’s you first.
4. Go out.
This is very basic. But now, go out not because you want to get rid of the pain. Go out not because you want to forget all the things you’ve been through. Go out to have fun. Go out to be happy, to laugh until your tummy hurts. Go out and binge eat your favorite food. Go out and discover new things. Go out and do the things you’ve never tried before or afraid to do. Go out for yourself.
Explore the world not because you want to forget by seeing new things. You don’t get healed by that. Always do it for experience, for stories, for memories, for Instagram photos. Be happy despite all the painful things then healing will follow.
5. Be a better version of yourself.
Position yourself this year. Sooner or later, your heart will get healed and love will find you again. Give the best love that you can give. Give the best version of you. Workout on yourself, your character, your well-being. Be a better you.
On this year, move on not because you have to forget. That is just a part of it. Move on this year for yourself. Do things this time to be better and not
just to get healed. Make it a better year for you! It’s just getting started! -
