WATCH: 3 members of R.E.M. reunites to perform ‘Superman’

  Former R.E.M. band members Peter Buck, Mike Mills and drummer Bill Berry reunited at the 40 Watt Club in Athens, Georgia according to Spin.

  The Michael Stipe-less R.E.M. performed their 1986 song from ‘Lifes Rich Pageant’, ‘Superman’.

  Peter Buck, who was the band’s guitarist often plays for Scott McCaughey’s band the Minus 5.

  When Minus 5 started to play some of the hits of R.E.M. they called onstage two additional guests, R.E.M. bassist Mike Mills and drummer Bill Berry.

  R.E.M. broke up in 2011.
