Adele’s ’25’ has won album of the year at this year’s Grammys beating critically acclaimed Beyonce’s ‘Lemonade’ according to the Guardian.

The ‘Hello’ singer took home the biggest award which has become the second-biggest selling of the millennium.

Meanwhile, Adele stopped her George Michael tribute and cursed before starting her performance at the awards night.

Adele apologized on stage after failing to nail the sound of Fastlove. “I’m sorry for swearing and and I’m sorry for starting again,” Adele said. “I can’t mess this up for him. I’m sorry, I can’t”.

Despite of the botched performance, Adele went on to complete the ballad-version of Michael’s hit.

Last year, Adele also struggled with her performance of ‘All I Ask’, which she also had a technical difficulty including her microphone cutting out and a guitar seeming to be played over her song.
