‘Fifty Shades Darker’ OST debuts at top on Billboard 200 Albums Chart

  The ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ official soundtrack debuts at no. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, gaining 123,000 album sales/downloads in the week ending the movie’s premiere according to Billboard.

  ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ bests 2015’s no. 2 peak of ‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ OST. The new album is the first soundtrack to hit the no. 1 on the Billboard 200 since the ‘Suicide Squad’ album dated August 27 and September 3.

  According to Neilsen Music, 72,000 of the album units were in traditional album and 51,000 came in digital downloads.

  The ‘Fifty Shades Darker’ OST is led by the hit single ‘I Don’t Wanna Live Forever’, by Zayn and Taylor Swift. Other acts includes Sia, Nick Jonas and Nicki Minaj.
