Black Sabbath members confirm band split

  Rock band Black Sabbath has officially called it quits after 49 years and 19 studio albums according to Billboard.

  The news broken when Ozzy Osbourne and the members posted an obituary on Facebook with the hashtag #TheEnd.

  Black Sabbath started out in Birmingham in 1968 originally formed by Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezy Butler.

  The band’s last performance was on their ‘The End Tour’ in January 2016.

  Black Sabbath is considered one of the most influential heavy acts of all time.
