Ed Sheeran to make guest appearance in TV series Game of Thrones

Award-winning singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran will have a role in the upcoming seventh series of HBO’s Game of Thrones according to The Guardian.
Sheeran’s guest appearance was revealed by the show’s creators, David Benioff and Dan Weiss during the SXSW film festival in Texas.
The ‘Shape of You’ singer confirmed the news on his Twitter account:

Creators of the show have not detailed yet on what Sheeran’s role will be.
Ed’s not the first musician to appear in Game of Thrones. In fact, previous musical cameos have included members of Coldplay, Mastodon, Of Monsters and Men, and Sigur Ros.
The seventh season of HBO’s fantasy drama ‘Game of Thrones’ is set to return to TV screens in July.
