4 Reasons Why Your Soulmate Is Not ‘The One’

  Meeting your soulmate is one of the most exciting moments of your life. They say, soulmate is the one made for you. One soulmate for each one of us. And when we found them, it would always feel right. It feels like we found “the one.”

  There are stories about people ending up with their soulmates. Marrying each other and spending their lives together. But, what if your soulmate isn’t “the one”? Well, there are reasons why…

  1. Your soul mate is committed.

  There will always be that one person who makes you comfortable, happy, and contented. That one person who makes you smile and makes your heart leap for joy even on not-so-extraordinary days. And you know, deep down in your heart, that you can be with that person for the rest of your life. But plot twists happen, just when you’re so sure to be that person forever, he/she is already committed to someone else.

  Yes, you have that connection that only you two and the universe could understand. But it’s not always as easy as that.

  2. You are better off friends.

  There are limitations between you dating your soul mate and being friends. You may feel connected with that person, you make each other feel special and you both care for each other. Sometimes it feels like that person is ‘the one’ for you. But for some reasons, you are better off friends. You may have that special connection but you know that things will be better if you stay as friends.

  3. You love each other but not in love with each other.

  There is a thin line between loving someone and being in love with them. You can love someone because of his/her taste in music or the books he/she have read or just love him/her for the way he/she is. You can love a friend, your mom, or a pet. And the idea of being in love with someone is different. Sometimes the person you know you won’t lose forever can’t really be the person you’ll love forever. And for some reason we all can’t figure out, it’s just like that.

  4. You complete each other. But you’re not “the one” for each other.

  You’re so into each other. You share the same interests, you complete each other. It’s like you’re each others’ better half. However, the universe has its twists and turns. Your soul mate can be that person who will you have a right love at the wrong time.

  You two found each other but you’re not meant to be together. And that’s okay. Your soul mate will always be a part of who you are and how you love.
