Gwen Stefani and events company Live Nation is being sued after a fan broke a leg during the singer’s concert in North Carolina according to the Rolling Stone.
In a complaint filed by Lisa Keri Sticklin, she accused Stefani of causing a ‘crowd rush’ at her concert that resulted in Sticklin suffering several injuries including a broken tibia. Aside from the No Doubt singer, Live Nation has also been named as defendant in the fan’s lawsuit.
According to her, Stefani encouraged the concert goers to rush into the reserved seats. “Just fill in anywhere you like! Who cares about your lawn chairs? You can get new ones,” the singer told the crowd, the lawsuit alleges, accusing the singer of negligence.
Representatives from Stefani’s camp has not yet commented about the lawsuit while Live Nation said that the company ‘does not comment on pending or ongoing litigation.’
