WATCH: Sneak peek of John Legend as Jesus Christ in ‘Jesus Christ Superstar Live’

  NBC has released a new promotional video of ‘Jesus Christ Superstar Live!’  and it casts John Legend, Sara Bareilles, and Alice Cooper according to Entertainment Weekly.

  In the new promotional video, the casts were revealed wherein John Legend will play the role of Jesus Christ, Sara Bareilles as Mary Magdalene and Alice Cooper as Herod. A glimpse of their performance were also shown, performing the hit song ‘I Don’t Know How to Love Him.’

  ‘Jesus Christ Superstar Live!’, a one night only  concert will air on Easter Sunday, April 1 on NBC.
