Who doesn’t want to travel? Come one, getting tired to see new things and venture on  a different place, trying new food, and all. We might not want to always travel but we want to experience it, right? To travel is one of the gladdest moment in human life.

But let’s face it, along with the pleasure of getting to other places, boredom gets in the way. Specially if you’re taking planes and transferring from one airport to another. If you love the waiting game, lucky you! But if you get impatient and just want to be in paradise already, here are some things you need to keep in mind whenever airplane boredom strikes.

    1. IT’S A GOOD TIME TO SLEEP

Your flights and waiting games in the airport are the best time to cope with lost sleep! Just make sure that you won’t miss your flight, okay? But for yuppies who work hard and travel harder, you can use your waiting time to sleep and rest for a while before you get in the game of roaming around the place you’ll get yourself into.

    2. BRING SOME GAMES

Kill the boredom with some fun. If you’re travelling with friends or family, spend your time through cards or puzzles. Just make sure that you’re not destructing other passengers. Or if you’re travelling alone, download some fun apps to keep yourself entertained. Make sure you put your headphones on if it’s a noisy game though.

    3. DON’T FORGET THE ESSENTIALS

Well, since it’s difficult to predict the quality of an airline’s entertainment, there are some essentials you should always bring to keep yourself busy on a long flight. Just pack your fully charged laptop, some movies or series, headphones, a nice book or a few magazines. With these, you’re good to go.

    4. PERFECT TIME TO RELAX

If you’re sitting at the window seat, take advantage of it! It’s not very often that we have the chance to see the world the way you can see it from a plane. This is also a good time to reflect on how life went by reviewing your biggest accomplishments, thinking about challenges you have overcome, etc. Make use of the time you’re not connected with social media or whatever keeps you busy.

    5. MAKE FRIENDS

A lot of people doesn’t like it when their seatmate turns out to be chatty. But just in case you’re seated with someone who is open for conversations, take advantage of it to make new friends. Though, you must be mindful that some may really want to have a peaceful flight.
