Pop singer Demi Lovato was rushed in the hospital due to an apparent narcotic overdose last Tuesday morning, July 24 according to People.
Reports said that the singer is already receiving medical care after the alleged overdosing on heroin. Contrary to previous reports, a source that is reported to be close to the Pop Star claims that Lovato did not overdose on heroin but declined to name the specific opioid.
Another representative from her side shared a statement with Variety that Demi is now awake and wants to express thanks to everyone for the love, prayers and support. They also cleared that some of the reports are incorrect and were asking for privacy and not speculation as her health and recovery is the most important thing right now.
