Rainy season is the time when the wanderlust soul in each of us takes a backseat. The gloomy weather and the cold breeze would make you want to just stay in bed and cuddle with your loved ones. If you really are a travel junkie, not even a drop of rain could stop you from exploring.
Don’t be sad because this is also the perfect time for you to explore indoors and still get your wanderlust souls satisfied. Here are some of the places you can visit and the activities that you could try during the rainy season.
Staycation
If you can’t run along the fine sands of your favourite beaches, you can try to stay indoors and enjoy the cold climate Tagaytay provides. Who can say no to staycations? There are a lot of places you can find that can provide you enough space to snuggle next to your loved ones with a cup of coffee in hand.
Museum Hopping in Manila
If you can do island hopping under the scorching heat of the sun, museum hopping is the perfect activity during the rainy season. Indoors can still give you the same adventure that the outdoors can provide. Satisfy your eyes with sights to see inside the three newly opened buildings of The National Museum.
Cable Wakeboarding
If you really are spontaneous and don’t mind getting wet for an adventure during this rainy season, you can try cable wakeboarding. You can find a wakeboarding facility in Nuvali but if you want to go further, try to visit Naga, Camarines Sur.
Foodtrip. Foodtrip. Foodtrip.
If you want to go on a different adventure, try foodtrippin’ at Mercato Centrale. Satisfy your taste buds with different food like burgers, sausages, pasta, desserts and so much more! This is totally a place for people looking for a great adventure. You can check out Mercato Centrale in Makati City, BGC, and Eastwood City.
Surfing
Surfers know that rainy season is the perfect time to chase the waves. Various surfing competitions are held during this season. Learn how to surf and chase the waves of some of the surfing spots in our country. Go to Siargao, Baler, Bagasbas and so much more.
