John Legend completes EGOT

  John Legend officially completes his EGOT-Emmy, Grammy, Oscar and Tony awards after receiving the Outstanding Variety Special award as a producer on “Jesus Christ Superstar Live in Concert,” September 9, at the Creative Arts Emmys, Billboard confirms.

  Legend now belongs to the ranks of stars who have taken home EGOT and making him the youngest awardee. He might also receive another award after being nominated for the Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie.

  Alongside of Legend are Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice also become EGOT awardees. This make them as the 13th, 14th and 15th artists to have the achievement.
