The biggest player in the format of streaming, Spotify, is now on the test phase on allowing artists to upload songs in their domain without record labels or distributors.
It is said that the feature is now on experiment for selected US-based independent artists who have copyright concerns.
“You’ve told us time and time again that sharing your work with the world should be easier,” Spotify addressed to artists.
This newest feature will be watched by record labels, those having license deals with Spotify and those having close partnerships with them.
