Taylor Swift makes history for winning the Artist of the Year award

  Taylor Swift bags awards on the recent American Music Awards 2018 after winning the Artist of the Year Award, Most AMAs awards received and the highest-grossing US tour by female artist.

  “Every single time [I win an award], it means something different,[This one] represents encouragement and motivation for me to be better and work harder and try to make you guys proud.” Swift said while accepting the artist of the year award.

  Taylor also said that the awards she gained was surely effects of the public voting, and referenced her recent Internet-breaking candidate endorsement. That’s why she invited everybody in the event to vote in the US middle term election on November 6, 2018.

  The pop star opened the AMAs 2018 stage with a choreo-heavy and snake-filled performance of hit single, “I Did Something Bad.”
