Tribute to Aretha Franklin taping this January 2019

The tribute of the CBS to the late Aretha Franklin entitled “Aretha! A Grammy Celebration for the Queen of Soul” is set to be recorded on January 13 in front of live audience in Los Angeles.
The filmmaker and actor Tyler Perry will host the tribute at the Los Angeles Shrine Auditorium and will cater the parade of Grammy winners who will perform songs composed and made by the late Aretha Franklin. This will be made more special with guest appearances from Alicia Keys to Sza.
Performers namely are Alessia Cara, Alicia Keys, BeBe Winans, Brandi Carlile, Common, Celine Dion, Chloe X Halle, H.E.R., Janelle Monáe, Jennifer Hudson, John Legend, Kelly Clarkson, Patti Labelle, Shirley Caesar, Sza and Yolanda Adams.
Franklin died in August 2018 at the aged of 76, accumulated 18 Grammy awards during the reign of her career.
