Rihanna sues father for misuse of trademark and lying about business

Yes. Rihanna is filing a criminal case against her father believing that he is tricking people into the mindset that she belong to its company and adding her with, “Fenty.”
Ronald Fenty and his business partner, Moses Joktan Perkins, are in the center of allegations that they implied association of Rihanna and lying to investors about the her involvement in Fenty Entertainment.
“Simply put, Mr. Fenty, Mr. Perkins and the Company are not presently, nor have they ever been, authorized to exploit Rihanna’s name, her intellectual property or the goodwill associated with her well-known ‘Fenty’ brand, or to solicit any business on her behalf,” writes Attorney Carla Wirtschafter in their complaint.
Rihanna’s team already sent a cease and desist order last March 2018 and second was sent in December 2018. She is suing for false designation of origin, invasion of her rights of privacy and publicity and false advertising.
