Because of her leg injury, Lea Salonga postpones Singapore, HK concerts

  Lea Salonga, on Monday, announces the cancellation of her upcoming concerts in Hong Kong and Singapore due to her leg injury after having a vacation in Hokkaido prefecture, Japan.

  “While we initially hoped to be able to keep the appearances on the calendar, the injury is going to take longer than expected to heal and my doctors have given me strict instructions not to travel for the next several weeks,” Lea said on her recent tweet.

  Salonga has to cancel the adjacent concert scenes because she has to undergo treatment for her leg injury brought by a mishap on ski activities in Japan. It is expected to heal longer than she thinks and she is prohibited to travel for the coming weeks.

  Aside from the concerts abroad, she will be one of the special guest of Josh Groban in a post-Valentine concert in Manila on February 22.
