If you happen to wake up to cold mornings or sleep through the cold evenings, then this has nothing to do with your current relationship status or the coming Valentine’s day. Stop making hugot ’cause PAGASA can explain what brings the cold weather in Manila these past few days.
Manila has been experiencing cold weather for the past week now and according to Philippine Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), Manila including the rest of the country will continue to experience cold mornings and evenings due to the northeast monsoon or hanging amihan.
Many have been comparing the unusually cold mornings of Manila to that of Tagaytay City and of Baguio City. Different memes about the cold weather are all over social media, too. Yes, knowing Filipinos they sure know how to make the most out of literally about anything. As they say, “Pinoy ‘yan eh!”
Even though some people might not be enjoying this kind of weather since they are not so used to taking cold showers in the morning and in the evening, there are still some who are savoring this unusual cold weather. Since this kind of weather is not present all year round, this is the perfect timing not just for cuddles but also for getting those warm sweaters out of your closet. Fashionistas take this as a perfect opportunity to dress up fashionably. Imagine, it’s not every day that you get to put on your sweaters or hoodies in Manila. Not even when it’s December, you guys!
Tell us about your thoughts and even your hugots in the comment section down below. We’d love to hear it from you. Enjoy the cold weather while it lasts, guys!
