Ariana Grande tops Billboard’s Artist 100

  Ariana Grande rises from the number 3 spot to the number 1 making her the top musical act in the United States for six total weeks since January 5.

  For Artist 100’s top five: Queen rises 6-5; BTS falls 2-4; Future rises 64-3; and Post Malone dips into the number 2.

  As she earns her total week at number 1, Ariana Grande also debuts at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. She also got her six weeks atop on the same platform since September when “Sweetener” album debuted on 200 chart.

  The Artist 100, launched in July 2014 to measure the activity of artists across the key metrics of music consumption with variables of album and track sales, radio airplay, streaming and social media fan interaction.
